Attendance
All students are expected to be in school every day unless they have a legitimate reason for being absent. Excused absences include illness, medical and dental appointments, death in the immediate family and quarantine directed by a health officer.
Excessive absences for illness may require a physician verification.
Excessive absences in any class could result in a failing
grade. Tardiness to class results in the student serving after-school
detention for each tardy. Saturday school is required of those
who fail to serve detention.

Teaching Staff
The staff at Gladstone High School works as a team to provide a quality educational program to all students. For a listing of our staff members, click here Staff List.
Education is not only a privilege but an individual
responsibility. High school education must originate at the
student's working level and provide the opportunity and incentive
to build a foundation for life after high school. "Life
after high school" may be more schooling, immediate employment,
the military or emphasis on family life, but it always should
be that of a useful citizen in a community. Our objectives
are:
- Provide opportunity and incentive for the development
of useful citizenship.
- Provide opportunity and incentive for each individual
to develop their maximum academic potential.
- Provide opportunity and incentive for each individual
to obtain economic efficiency and responsibility.
